Good evening everyone! Tonight I would like to express my opinion about a cult album of rock music: Abbey Road by The Beatles, published in 1969 and the last studio recording by the Fab Four. An album mostly known for the cover which depicts the British band crossing the street in London, but also for the presence of well-known songs. Besides the usual partnership between John Lennon and Paul McCartney (authors of the famous Come Together), also George Harrison (with Something and Here Comes the Sun) and Ringo Starr (with Octopuss Garden) make an important contribution . Although Abbey Road is considered one of the best works by The Beatles, I think there are some ups and downs: interesting songs alternate with songs more redundant. However, Abbey Road is a particular album because most of the songs in the B side are a medley that leads to the end of the album. In spite of the ups and downs, it is a cornerstone of the music which deserves a listening at least once in a lifetime. Buonasera a tutti! Stasera vorrei esprimere la mia opinione riguardo un album cult della musica rock: Abbey Road dei Beatles, pubblicato nel 1969 e lultimo registrato in studio dai Fab Four. Un album conosciuto soprattutto per la copertina che ritrae la band inglese che attraversa la via di Londra, ma anche per la presenza di brani noti. Oltre al consueto sodalizio fra John Lennon e Paul McCartney (autori della celeberrima Come Together), anche George Harrison (con Something e Here Comes the Sun) e Ringo Starr (con Octopuss Garden) danno un importante contributo. Sebbene Abbey Road sia considerato uno dei migliori lavori realizzati dai Beatles, io credo che ci siano alcuni alti e bassi: canzoni interessanti si alternano a brani più ridondanti. Tuttavia Abbey Road è un album particolare perché buona parte delle canzoni presenti nel lato B costituiscono un Medley che porta alla conclusione dellalbum. Malgrado gli alti e bassi, si tratta di una pietra miliare della musica rock che merita di essere ascoltato almeno una volta nella vita. -Riff
