A ridge will build along the southern coast from Monday. A large scale upper trough will develop over southern inland Queensland on Tuesday, with the inland surface trough deepening in response. A slight to medium chance of showers and and storms over remaining areas, though fine and mostly clear in the far southwest. Moderate north to northwesterly winds, tending southwest to southeasterly over southern areas.
