CPT Student Council Milestones: All council problems were settled before we have turned over our duties to the next council officers, (except collection of remaining funds and forwarding some of the collected funds as payment to supplier, some for AY 13-14 varsity players refunds/subsidy, some will be added to the next councils fund). The Council has: 1. assisted kines suit problems 2. assisted in university shirt distribution 3. dealt with the past council liabilities to the students: -granted refunds -unclaimed jackets -unclaimed kines suits -unclaimed lanyards -unclaimed PT shirts SAAN AABOT ANG B.E.N.T.E. NIYO? Bolder You 1.Established Guilds (Badminton, Table Tennis) 2.Organized events focusing on Individual Personality Development, Building camaraderie, and fun: -General Assembly 2014, Inspirational Talk by Mr. Cornel Bongco -CPT 20th Founding Anniversary Celebration, special thanks to our host: Mr. Lloyd Cadena, Youtube Sensation -First Recognition Night/All-in-one year-ender party, special thanks to our DJ, Mr. Albert Ang, PTRP, and to our guest performer: Marc Gregory OREO Gajasan, I Am Pogay Grand Finalist We have recognized: PTLE 2013 topnotchers second year deans listers top 10 third year and fourth year top 10 interns in clinical internship and oral revalida junior officers Best Junior Officer Best Block President -World PT Day celebration/National Aerobic Exercises Participation, were featured in Association of the Physical Therapy Students in Asia e-news! Enriching Minds Seminars 1. Current Trends in Neurologic Rehabilitation, Dr. Lazaro, we had participants from different PT schools UPM, UB, etc. 2. Balance and Fall Prevention, Dr. Jeffrey of medpro 3.Leadership Training Seminar for aspiring leaders Sharpening the saw: bringing out the best in you AYLA 4.Training for the Incoming SC officers, Introduction to Organizational Communication, special thanks to Mr. Ryan James Teodosio, PTRP, and to Mr. Peejay Montilla 5. Acute Care Setting Seminar with fifth year students, Mr. Carlos Garcia, PTRP, DPT Nurturing Resources 1.Financial assistance program: -Emergency Loan Grants for the financially-challenged students (tuition fees, book, and other fees) -Foundation Day Representatives (FULL) -Court fees for Basketball varsity practices (FULL) -Subsidy for varsity players jerseys (50%) 2. Junior Officers training program 3. *assistance in college events (eg: Pool Therapy 3rd-4th year, Eulogy for our beloved Maam Anna Guico) 4. actively worked with APPTS (fun run and 2nd general assembly planning) and sent participants for their events 5. Acquired useful assets for the college: CPT Standees Printer Paper cutter Bass Drum The Voice 1.Assistance and free tour during Freshmen Enrollment 2. Freshmen Room-to-Room consultation 3. CPT Website 4. CPT FB Page 5. announcements thru Social media and SMS to the students thru block presidents 6. direct participation of normal PT students in planning thru survey forms and meetings with the Block Presidents Extending Arms Outreach Programs 1.You-can-help project for Yolanda victims under the project of CUES 2.Set the September Trend, Wear it Red, a BLOOD DONATION DRIVE under dugong alay dugtong buhay program of CUES 3.Gawad Kalinga Community Building Project 4.Christmas Party with Cerebral Palsy Patients, (were able to donate in 10,000 cash and 3,000 in kind to PCPI thru the effort of the Mr. and Ms. Physical Therapy Candidates) 4.Fun Run participation with SocWork Society program for the benefit of boystown complex MULI, SAAN UMABOT ANG BENTE NINYO?
