Good evening friends! Just wanted to give a little daily dose of Dalton before two days of craziness. We have three doctors appointments in the next two days and 5 therapy appointments (2 physical, 1 respiratory and 2 speech). Dalton is still hitting some pretty impressive milestones. He has started learning how to manipulate his vocal chords more and more. Dalton did say DaDa. It was an incredible and emotional moment. He has only said it once but it was clear, it was loud and purposeful. The speech therapist says that knowing that he can is half the battle, she believes we will get him talking. So while Dalton has been doing well, I have had a rough run this last week. My bronchitis worsened to pneumonia. :( So I have been sent into exile. Im not allowed anywhere near Dalton. This past week has been hard. Thankfully we have nurses who continue to shoot pictures of him and send them over to me. I miss snuggling and kissing him. But I know how detrimental it would be if Dalton got this. Dalton is doing very well. We finally have all of our therapies in place. He is growing so much! Tomorrow we have the ENT and Neurologist appointment. Friday we see the pulmonologist for more ventilator weaning. Thank you all for the love and prayers. #teamdalton #daltonstrong #grateful
