Good evening from the flat high ground, my friends. Now that things have settled down after the holidays, I should be able to post once again with some degree of regularity. I am well so far this winter and have intentions of staying so for the duration of it. The stock of provisions Ive set aside for these cold months are plentiful thus far and I see little need for the hounds and I to be traipsing about in it. I now have a female companion whose heart is soft as butter left out in the summertime and thats been keeping me busier than Im accustomed to, but it is indeed a welcome addition and my humour is a good bit better than it was. I reckon thats all for now, other than Ill be making a good hot pot of chili this evening and itll be a fine night for such hearty fare. Stay in if you can.
