Good evening my MFM Family. Are you ready for tonights scenario? I will post the answer tomorrow night. You and your partner are just finishing up eating when you get a call for a roll over MVA with minor injuries. You arrive on scene to see patient sitting in drivers seat talking with police. Patient states she is the only person in vehicle. She is a 24 y.o. f with no known medical history. You are getting patients vitals when the patient begins to crash. Patient states she is having difficulty breathing. You get her to a backboard and begin treating her for a full blown code. You get patient somewhat stabilized and you begin your code 3 drive to the ER. Patient appears to have only minor head lac from the accident. You arrive at ER, the patient has stabilized and as you are bringing her into the ER, she codes again. What is going on with this patient? You must think outside the box on this call and dont get hung up on vitals. ~mamawolf~
