Good evening, my friends. Today I only spent 4 hours at the hospital and most of that time was in the waiting room. Vicki had many visitors and I am not selfish with her time. The post I put on here previously should have said Vicki, not the key. Silly auto correct phone. I did ask her permission to post the picture and she nodded in the affirmative that I could. I know she understands most of the time. Today they sat her up on the side of the bed and turned her loose. She began falling to the paralyzed side and tried to catch herself. That was a major thing. Although she fell to her side, just the act of trying to catch herself was huge. They are pushing her harder and harder each day to see what she can do. She continues to amaze them and us. It does not take too much to tire her, but she will stay awake unless I tell her that it is on, just close your eyes and go to sleep. As soon as I do, she closes them and I get quiet. She is a very good patient. Please continue to pray and I encourage you to call, visit, or send word to her. By the way, the order was put in for a feeding tube today. It had not been done when I left. The family has not decided on which facility to take her to, but she will be leaving Lumberton in the next week, for sure. Love you all.
