Good for the sherpas! - they SHOULD boycott! No human beings should be beasts of burden -- danger-way-clearers / bag-carriers for wealthy Westerners looking for the adventure and machismo/a of scaling Mt. Everest at the expense of other peoples lives. (Maybe the mountain should also be renamed in concert with local ethnicity and Buddhist traditions.) (I dont know how this pic got on -- Umm, I do not think shes a Sherpa.)
