Good government is not rocket science. It is open, transparent, and accountable to the people. It is limited in its powers to protecting the rights of the people , and providing an avenue of justice when those rights are violated. Here is where the system falls apart : if people want a government like that, they must actually elect someone who will fight for those features. This will not be the candidates with the money , or the ones that the media promotes, so the electorate must actually seek them out, or even convince such a person to get into politics. Is it any wonder that so many of us who feared for the loss of the founding principles of our country became such passionate supporters of Ron Paul. Now we are reaping the results of not listening or acting on his warnings concerning violations of our Constitution that he has been making for decades.
