Good luck to all the candidates trying to make a difference for the Oxford Schools. I have lived in two other school districts since leaving Oxford and I have seen how good school districts operate. While foreign language in grade school and high school is a great thing (we hired a college professor to continue teaching our kids Chinese), Oxford has spent too much time on Skillings pet Chinese projects at the expense of the Oxford children. I can tell you firsthand about the crap Lisa and I went through when we ran for school board years ago so hats off to those of you that are trying to make a difference in this election.
