Good mid morning to The Studio 47 Universe, one year ago today my musical soul brother from another mother, Bubba G. Scotch, passed away up into that great big DJ booth up in the heavens, but as I reflect back on his life and what he accomplished, such as putting Salinas on the map, in a positive way and the unselfish mentoring he provided, which pointed the youth of Salinas to pursue a positive avenue in life and to become the successful people they are today, which in turn will bring up the newer generation to achieve their goals, and so on and so on.........Bubba accomplished quite a bit! On this day, be happy and rejoice all the good he has done, the legacy that he left behind and his proud daughter DJ Madonna who keeps his spirit alive through her weekly radio show, The BGS Backspin, heard LIVE every Thursday from 8-11 pm on KHDC 90.9, (wednesdaywreck), courtesy of DJ Kazzeo. Listen in, call or email them with your shout outs and support public radio and lets not forget Christina G. Scotch, who is the backbone of her family and is keeping it all together, kudos to you!
