Good morn. FB Fam..But what happens when we live God’s way? He brings gifts into our lives, much the same way that fruit appears in an orchard—things like affection for others, exuberance about life, serenity. We develop a willingness to stick with things, a sense of compassion in the heart, and a conviction that a basic holiness permeates things and people. We find ourselves involved in loyal commitments, not needing to force our way in life, able to marshal and direct our energies wisely. Legalism is helpless in bringing this about; it only gets in the way. Among those who belong to Christ, everything connected with getting our own way and mindlessly responding to what everyone else calls necessities is killed off for good—crucified. Galatians 5:22-23 MSG Fam Ive received an epiphany( a usually sudden manifestation or perception of the essential nature or meaning of something (2) : an intuitive grasp of reality through something (as an event) usually simple and striking (3) : an illuminating discovery, realization, or disclosure) this morning that I pray will make this walk more productive. The awakening I received was sobering as I learned that many times the things Ive prayed for, hoped for, and believed for were not manifesting because I was not in the will of God. We, as a body of believers must line our will up with Gods will if we want our prayers answered. We can go through all of the motions we want, worshiping, shouting, praying and praising, but if our wills are not in line with His, we get nothing. To many this eiphany would be considered common sense, but far too many of us that call ourselves Christians have not a clue when it comes to the fact that it takes walking in His will to receive from God. We can pray, fast, cry out, shout, dance in the assembly of the saints, and fall out being slain in the Spirit, but are we in His will? This is a time of self-examination for me. How about you?
