My favorite time of the year Christmas...back in the late 60s and early 70s..when I was little our mom n dad would tell us that we needed to write a letter to Santa and tell him we were good..and tell him what we wanted for Christmas... and that we would leave cookies n milk for him..we put our letters in envelopes and addressed to the north pole and mom would put a postage stamp on them...well when the time came on Christmas day dad would go outside to say he was gonna start the car...and lo n behold there would be a gunny sack by our door..everything we asked for was in that sack!!
