Good morning- Today is July 25. We are a little past the halfway mark of 2013. There has been a lot of water under this bridge so far: Record breaking tornado outbreak this spring, the drought continues, storms cause power outages in Eastern Oklahoma similar to the epic ice storm, the market surges to all time highs, interest rates start to rise and bond prices become more volatile, homes start selling at a furious pace, unemployment falls, then rises, gasoline prices fall below $3, briefly, and rise swiftly, vacations have come, and gone, and political fights continue. In short, life happens. I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the first six months of 2013. Are you on track to reach your personal and professional goals? If not, take the steps necessary to accomplish what you set out to do. There is still time. Call or visit with your trusted advisors to get the ball rolling. Once started, its momentum will make it easier to keep it moving. You can always find reasons not to get started. But remeber, life continues to happen, on your schedule or otherwise.
