Sheep is the 8th animal in 12 zodiac signs. The sheep is among the animals that people like most. It is gentle and calm. Since ancient times, people have learned to use its fleece to make writing brushes and skin to keep warm. It is close to the meaning of good things. This month’s advisory theme is Integrity. How do you define integrity? The dictionary says integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. Who in your life has strong moral principles? We will be talking more in advisory about how to have integrity in your life. The year 2015 marks anniversary’s for several important historical events: 1. 2015 is the 800th anniversary of King John issuing the Magna Carta at Runnymede in 1215. 2. It’s the 200th anniversary of Wellington’s defeat of Napoleon at Waterloo in 1815. 3. It’s the 200th anniversary of Humphrey Davy invention the miners lamp. 4. It is the 600th anniversary of England’s defeat of the French at the Battle of Agincourt in 1415. A New Years resolution is a tradition in which a person makes a promise to do an act of self-improvement or something slightly nice, such as opening doors for people beginning from New Years Day. According to a 2014 survey, only 45 percent of Americans make a New Year’s resolution and of those that make one, only 8% are successful. Did you make a New Year’s Resolution? Maybe it’s time to join one of our 10 fabulous clubs? Maybe it’s time to step up your academic game and join homework club, math club or digits.
