Good morning, Cavaliers! We appreciate your patience as we are - TopicsExpress

Good morning, Cavaliers! We appreciate your patience as we are still working to restore our fiber optic network on campus. The storm last Saturday shut down two of our fiber optic switches along with our connection to FTC. Because of this glitch in our technology system, we are still working to restore our Internet first and will continue working out the details of the Apple platform for the digital textbooks. Therefore, we are asking for your continued patience in this matter. The students still have access to the paper textbooks, which will allow for classes to run as usual. We expect the digital transition to be complete by the end of next week. Any student in grades 5 - 12 who has a Windows Surface (Windows platform) or Samsung Galaxy (Android platform) may bring those devices to school tomorrow, and we will work to get the textbooks loaded to those devices. Any student who may have other devices such as an iPad (Apple platform) will receive instructions next week regarding the textbook download for those. Again, we appreciate your patience during this transition period for us. We were aware that hiccups would be experienced and continue working to provide you with a quality education program utilizing todays technology. We truly believe that this is a positive change for our students and school, and we will continue to strive for success for all of our students here at Robert E. Lee Academy! Have a great day! Go CAVS!
