Good morning, Chicago. Tonight one of my very favorite people in the whole world is at Hugo Ball: Jeffrey Sfire. Jeffrey is not only a funny, smart, kind and wildly entertaining person in general. He is also the guy that made that record that virtually one hundred percent of you whove seen me play ran up and asked, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? ITS SO GOOOOOOD! In the words of Justin Aulis Long, It is one of those numbers that both haunts as well as brings feelings of ecstasy, and in that way, the tune is truly sublime. It is one that has sparked numerous conversations with curious minds that wanted to know more about the song. The stunning news is that not only is Jeffrey a talented producer that posses a pure vision, but he is also a passionate selector with a deep record collection that focuses on ideas of timelessness. I couldnt have said it better myself. And then you have the amazing and brilliant Samone, plus Justin himself and THE RETURN OF Erik Lamar Wallace II?????? Oh yes. This is just one of those nights.
