Good morning! DISCUSSION: After a cold front pushed through eastern Carolina last night, we are starting to see clearing. Clouds will drift out into the Atlantic through the day. Northern counties will clear first, southern counties like Onslow, Carteret, and Duplin will clear as we work into the late morning and early afternoon. Temperatures will be cooler than average today as an area of High pressure helps to pull 80 degree air south. Today, highs will be in the low to mid 80’s. Tomorrow more sunshine as that high pressure holds with highs in the low 80’s. We will begin to warm as the week wears on. Expect normal summer-time storms to work back into the forecast by mid-week.
