Good morning Econet CALL HOME fans. As posted last week, we are still piloting our new International Remittance service, Call Home EcoCash. We would like to advise you that since this is a pilot programme, we are only doing registrations in selected shops in Gauteng and the Western Cape to test the product’s functionality. If you wish to participate in the pilot programme and you reside near one of the pilot locations, you can visit a Flash Hot Spot in Tembisa, Diepsloot, Fishhoek and Hout Bay or the Econet Shop at the High Point Centre in Hillbrow. Please ensure you take your valid Identification Document and proof of address in your name. If you have no proof in your name an affidavit or a letter from the person with whom you are living, as well as proof of address if acceptable. Take note that when you visit the Flash Hot Spots, they can furnish you with full details of the Remittance service as well as any fees that are involved. The purpose of the pilot is to test all systems to ensure that when we launch the product fully, you will experience the best of EcoCash, as it should be experienced.
