Good morning Everyone, I wanted to take a minute and explain to all of you a little about the images that you have seen lately and those that you will be seeing in the near future. You can only say Congress is Corrupt so many times in a row until it becomes nothing more than rhetoric, treated like background noise (blocked out), and many drift away, losing interest. Many of you keep sharing the images on your pages and for that we thank you. But, once on your timeline, it often goes no further if we are only repeating the same thing. What we are doing is throwing out some examples now. Were putting facts in front of people. Instead of saying Congress is corrupt; once in they are in for life; and they are all controlled by the same puppet-masters (corporations/lobbyists); we are putting the examples in front of their faces and saying Look! Its real and it has to stop! Heres where your help comes in. We need your support and tolerance. We need you to leave your baggage at the door. While supporting this movement, set aside your labels. No Democrats, Republicans, Independents, Tea Party, Green Party, liberals, or conservatives. In this one instance, for this one overwhelmingly important task, we need everyone to be Americans. When we use individual examples, the actions of those in the examples are determining who is there, not the parties or ideologies. As a result, it is unavoidable that the individual examples cannot help but upset some people. We are putting a great deal of effort into maintaining a balance in the examples to avoid the appearance of partisanship. It is up to all of you to help us with this and to do your best to avoid making individual examples into partisan brawls. When focusing on the puppet-masters, we will be breaking these down into their various arenas. Some of these arenas tend to be supported more by one party than the other. Do not let yourself be sucked into partisan brawls over individual examples. Trust me, there will be more than enough blame to share regardless of which side of the aisle you personally prefer. An example would be the post last night about the Department of Defense budget. It immediately riled up a few people. The DoD budget is incredibly bloated. Defense of our nation is critical, but there is an unbelievable waste of money within that arena. The key corporations are feeding both sides of the aisle to ensure it remains so. Having spent my career as a senior engineer and manager for one of the very aerospace corporations listed, I can guarantee that the costs could be much lower. Many of these corporations have become so huge that the costs are outrageous. Were talking about overhead rates of 170% in some cases. For those not familiar with overhead costs, what this means is that if an engineer is making $100K a year, the defense contract will be charged $270K to cover not only the engineers cost, but the corporations costs and profits as well. The point is, folks, that the examples are necessary to not only reach more people, but to add credibility to our ongoing CRY for Term Limits for US Congress. Be Americans! Stand together!
