Good morning Facebook! I just wanted to say, since the age of 3 I have been a serious hooper! Started out playing recreation ball attempting to follow in my mothers footsteps of become a successful basketball player. Although I only made it as far as being a walk-on college basketball player (UCB), there are MANY who have fallen victim to my talents on the court (dunks, crossovers, blocks, steals, etc)! Through the years, I have suffered numerous injuries (both ankles fractured, all finger broken and/or fractured, both wrist fractured, stress fractures in my left foot, neck strains, slipped disc, etc) which continue to worsen as the years progress. As of yesterday, after 25 years of dedication to a sport Ive loved since a child, Ive decided to retire! As a man, I realize that I am only punishing my body and this is something that needs to stop before I am seriously injured! With the pain that I currently endure combined with seeing the unfortunate injury of Paul George I know its time to hang it up! My only exception will be playing in non competitive games such as celebrity basketball games and/or games that will benefit me and/or my supporters in some type of way! Thanks to any and everyone Ive ever hooped with and/or who has seen me play over the past 25 years! Its definitely been fun!!!!! #Salute #UTK #FGTBD
