Good morning Friends ! I am returned to the pseudo-tundra after half a month in subtropical Key West. I am sorry if I missed your special events or your birthday. I have an antique cell phone, used for talking and nothing else, but you were in my thoughts every day. I had a wonderful book signing at the historic Truman Little White House....very honored. Deb and I discovered new eateries on the island, and revisited some old ones that we had not eaten at in 15 years. Thanksgiving at Louies Louies Back Yard Key West, sitting in a private balcony room, as the sun turned red disappearing into the sea, was amazing. And then there were the turtle races on the waterfront @ Tutt;e Kraals bar every Monday and Friday @ 6pm...the rubbed wings Schooner Wharf Bar, and the fish sandwiches @ the 6 toed cat next to Hemmingways house. I think we may have only been on the crazy Duvall Street on twice the entire time. I wrote every afternoon, sometimes at Hemingways house, and some days next to the pool as the warm wind blew in off the Gulf through the Palm trees. I wrote eleven chapter for the next novel !
