Good morning God and my beautiful peeps! love to all. The strangest thing just happened to me. going to put something in the mail and I paused to watch a group of young kids waiting for the bus to come pick them up for their first day of the new school year. The breeze was pleasant and sky was bluest of blue with a very few little clouds. Why I did this-only God knows-I crossed the street (so the morning traffic didnt knock me for a loop) and I stood-500 or so yards away-watching the excitement in the kids-new clothes, back packs seeing the big yellow bus round the corner to take them to whatever the day would hold. THEY WERE HAPPY-ramped up and running to get on that bus. It brought back many long tucked away memories-the smell of the new school year, nervousness, excitement, uncertainty and yes a bit of that first day anxiety. how long ago! I hated high school-I was working and busy being a teenager-a wild one at that. These kids were elementary school ages-and wow-the flood of those feelings came back for the first time in more than 30 years. I waved to the parents who had escorted the kids to their first day of the rest of their life. As I turned to walk back to my drive-something got caught in my throat and my vision seemed watery....
