Good morning & Happy finally Friday!! Not sure if its last week of summer with everyone back in school or long weekend ahead with Labor Day but this week seems to have been a little longer than usual! Its like trying to get third out at end of baseball game, toughest one to get!! Have a blessed awesome day and weekend!! Peace My four mile run this morning felt like a struggle but what is really struggling ? I met a nice 63 yr old lady Bonita yesterday. She sits out by Civic Opera House, shes unemployed, has worked most of her life but is laid off now. She has a daughter who is forty two battling mental illness. I see her occasionally and had to meet her and ask her name and find out her story. Very nice lady, she has known struggle. Just this morning on train into city, young man in wheelchair waiting to get on, he needs conductor to lower lift so he can get on, you feel his struggles. Ive struggled with things but not like some. Ive struggled mightily during marathons or training runs, builds perseverance. It wasnt always easy on road to sobriety. You can identify with people when you face your own struggles. No one has it perfect, keep moving forward!!! Big opening game tomorrow at Duchon field, GW HITTERS take on WWS, ran by school and field this morning, prayers said!! Im selling programs tomorrow, come see me!!! One game, one mile, one play at a time!!! In view of all this, make every effort to respond to Gods promises.
