Have a great weekend! 2014 KYCAA moon festival celebration will be held at 4-8pm on Saturday, September 06 at the Moondance Amphitheater in the Beaumont Center Circle, 1152 Monarch Street, Lexington, KY 40513. Dont miss this biggest Chinese cultural event in Kentucky. There will be Chinese songs, dance, music, Taiji and other exciting entertainment programs, student art/essay contest awards ceremony, Chinese crafts, Moon cake tasting, fresh moon cake competition, and sale of moon cakes, delicious Chinese foods, face painting, petting zoo, inflatable castle and other fun activities…etc. Be sure to submit your art/essay works to UK Confucius Institute (see attached flyer for details, the deadline for submission is 09/01). Enter “The Best Fresh Moon Cake Contest by sending 10 or more of your moon cakes to the event site before 4pm that day or contact Dr. Changzheng Wang at wang1720@gmail. Every participant will receive at least $20 and will have a chance to win more cash and a trophy.
