Good morning, Having lots of fun playing in my new castle and getting load of pets and lots of love. Life couldnt be better. I cant believe that I started out on the streets of Jersey City and thanks to caring humans, a shelter (Liberty Humane Society), Facebook and a maidservant I am now here. As I wrote, I want now to share some other cats stories with you. I was thinking sharing Olivers story might be a good one. He is another foster in my maidservants home. Oliver, is about 3 years old. He is not sure what he did (if anything) but he lost his home and found himself on the streets in Union City, NJ. Many people think that since some cats live outside, and once they were all outside, that they all know how to survive in the city or country. Oliver, for one, will tell you this is not true. Oliver, had as much skill at hunting as you do if you had to live in a cave (like your ancestors). He quickly found himself cold and starving. Other strange animals (racoons and possums) were hungry too and often ate food before he discovered it. And there were mean animals, mean humans, cars, trucks, buses and noise. No place was really safe. When he had to rest, he always had to have one eye open to spot danger. He was so very sad. Oliver though, still loved people and kept going up to them asking for help. Finally, someone paid attention and he went to a warm shelter (in Union City) and then finally to my maidservants home. Olivers favorite thing is to be petted and he will follow my maidservant just hoping for some pets. At first, because of his life before, he fought with some cats, but now that he feels safe and secure, he does not do that anymore. He loves to play with cats his own age (like Fancy), running through the house and tackling them. He too is looking for another home. Hopefully one alone (so he can get all the attention) or one other playful, active cat his own age. I will show you his picture. Fancy just called. I guess he wants to share a joke or riddle. What kind of mistake does a ghost make? A boo-boo! What does a ghost do to stay safe in a car? A. Puts on his sheet belt! Fancy, he just cracks me up!
