Good morning, Here is todays forecast. July 2nd. England, Wales & Channel Islands: A fine and dry start for much of England and Wales this morning with plenty of sunny spells on offer, there are some clouds in parts central and eastern England, but the sun will soon burn through and brighten these areas up. Northern England will gradually tend to cloud over during the day as low pressure edges in from the North West bringing stiff south westerly breezes and some generally light rain for later on in the day. For the rest of England, Wales and the Channel Islands, it will remain fine with plenty of sunny spells, the south of England and the Channel Islands will hang on to the best of the sunny spells, central England and Wales may see the sunshine turn more hazy as the day progresses. Temperatures ranging between 16°c - 23°c north – south, possibly up to 25°c for the South East. Scotland, NI & Isle of Man: A generally fine start for eastern and southern Scotland, however, clouds will thicken here during the morning. For western and northern Scotland it will be a cloudy start this morning, some persistent rain, with some heavier pulses possible and strengthening winds will edge in to the Western Isles during the morning and then will spread to many areas of Scotland, including the northern isles during the afternoon. South eastern Scotland will probably remain dry until this evening but it will remain cloudy during the afternoon. Temperatures in north west Scotland ranging between 12°c - 15°c, between 15°c - 20°c in other areas. NI will start clouding over this morning but will remain largely dry, for this afternoon mainly light rain will start edging in from the west, reaching eastern areas by night time. The Isle of Man will start off fine with some variable cloud amounts, thicker cloud will move in for the afternoon but it will remain largely dry, some light rain will push in later on tonight. Temperatures ranging between 16°c - 20°c for NI, generally 17°c for the Isle of Man. Stuart.
