Good morning! Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend? Philippians 4:19 And God will meet all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus....... Notice this scripture says needs not wants? I think that is where most people get discouraged. Most people read this and think food and shelter etc and though thats true, there are other needs we dont often think about, like for instance, redemption, we all need it and it is offered to us through Christ, if we put our faith in Him. Or how about strength, recovery, peace, joy, compassion, etc.. Anything we need to live a life to serve others with the hopes of leading them to Christ and keeping us in Christs will. Even conviction, though we dont think of that as a need it is very much needed to help all of us to recognize our sin repent and turn from it. Im learning more and more to be thankful for my trials, disappointments, and discouragements, because thats when i learn and grow the most and thats when Gods presence is felt the most. In our weakness He is made strong! Living more for Christ means living less for me and that goes against the very desires of human nature, but ironically brings the most inner peace and joy. Im still working on this :/ Have a greattttt day! :)
