Good morning “Hump Day”- another day of thanksgiving- On the phone with a lady yesterday we talked through some of the events of the year we both have had. She said “Oh, My!-you have had a transitional year”- I couldn’t help but chuckle a little as I said – “Well, sometimes it felt more like a ship tossed in the ocean…and other times it felt like the wind was knocked out of my sail and I couldn’t do anything but maneuver through the water until another wind came along”- I thought about my response to her, and the many of you who have had days like that this year. Today, I’m thankful for the quiet days I’ve spent in faith, waiting for the wind to shift once again-and I’m thankful for all of you. Have a wonderful time of Thanksgiving with your family, friends - and for those without these this year- Be still on the ocean of faith –expect the wind to come back in to your sail too and while you wait-go ahead and be the wind in someone else’s.
