Good morning.... I guess our little home town of Linneus is having the "old Settlers Reunion" in progress now...Its amZing how getting older slows you down...as a child that was the HIGHLITE of our year and summers...Now days they buy arm bands to ride everything,when I was young most rides were a quarter and if Mother had gave me a dollar,I better be happy with that,part of the fun was buying the ticket and trying to decide if you were going to be brave enough to ride when it became your turn...lol I usually wasted some of my dollar trying to win a beautiful dish by tossing a nickel and hoping it stayed it the slick glass...and of course had to have cotton candy..it seemed magic to watch them make and smelled divine too...The 2 things I enjoyed riding was the SWINGS,and the Ferris Wheel...so my dollar had to cover a lot of stuff...we would try to look our best,but after walking around your shoes and feet were covered with dust..when my money was spent Id usually look for Mother,and she was generally visiting with some people or sitting down by the stage where somebody was singing and playing music...Now days I can never make a dollar strech that far or enjoy spending it as much....lol It is a pretty Saturday if Kathy wasnt still sleeping I would open windows for a whlie...Pandora spent evening with Randy and Ashley...so I stayed up to see Johnnie Depp on David Letterman,he said he was 50 now.Saw previews for The Lone Ranger..as he plays Tonto...My nephew that has always been a huge Lone Ranger fan said the movie was excellent...so its on my to watch list. Well I have rattled on this morning,so I will hush...YOU HAVE A BEAUTIFUL DAY.....
