Good morning!! I have had something on my heart since last night and I want to share it with you all. Obedience is better than a sacrifice. David understood that God no longer desired sacrifices. He sought God in prayer acknowledging the fact that he had sinned. Then He asked God to create in him a clean heart and renew the right spirit in him. Then he would be able to teach the transgressors Gods way. He was later known as a man after Gods own heart. It is imperative that we understand that it is better to obey God from the beginning but if we do sin this is the route we should take to get back on track. Our prayer must be sincere. Sacrificing animals or giving large offerings is not going to change the condition of our heart. God is not going to judge us by our outward appearance. He going to judge us by our hearts. If we do not fix our heart then the things we do will not profit us. Jesus is coming back for a Church without a spot or a wrinkle or any such blemish.
