Good morning! I know we are only beginning the Fall season, but its never too early to think about your spring gardens. So, we proceed to #17... Think spring gardening! Plan to use native plants in your landscaping. They are easy to maintain and conserve water. Native plants are perfect for those who may not have the greenest of thumbs. They are native to the area, so they thrive in our sandy soil, tolerate our droughts and sometimes hot, dry summers. Plus, you are helping conserve our precious resource...the Kirkwood-Cohansey aquifer. Its all about the water! PPA has their native plant sale for two days in April. Our Members Preview Sale is on Friday, public sale on Saturday. If you arent a member or have been thinking about becoming one, you can sign up now or at the Members Preview Sale to get first shot at the beautiful plants provided by the Pinelands Nursery. Click the link below to read more about pinelands native plants. And, feel free to share this post with the gardeners in your life! Happy Planting!
