Good morning ...I start my day thinking thinking about our small children n youth ...wondering if the chief n council are going to declare our Rez is in crisis situation due to the financial issue we are having at the band office .2.6 million n climbing deficit is just a bit to hilarious of a deficit to our band office .geez ...was listening to local radio station when they were talking about electing the new band councillor ..the election committee was talking about the head councillor position ..they expressed the dollar figure for a year ..53,200.00 a year ..man I was shocked ..thats like 1,000.00 a week in twelve months and plus their fuel plus honorariums ...where is that money generating from ..no wonder why the deficit ..time for the community people to really sit down n focus on this issue that is happening ..geez geez geez ..I say mismanagement ...its our children who are going to suffer if we dont correct this issue ..I think community Rez members have to hire people who will run that finance office like how we hire the chief n council by electing ...it is the band members office not the band staff not the chief n council either .geez Im just saying how I started my day ..have a good day
