Good morning! I wanted to take a moment to WELCOME those of you who are new to my page. Im so glad youve found me and are following along on my handmade journey. I hope that you find my work inspiring and that you take time for yourself to play. (Yes, play. We are never too old to PLAY.) Regarding CUSTOM ORDERS. Unfortunately, I do not accept requests for custom rubber stamps. You have to believe me when I say it pains me to say no. I do not enjoy saying no. Why dont I carve custom stamps? It would be an expensive purchase for you. Custom orders means custom sizing and often a great amount of detail. Most of my stamps are mounted on wood blocks that I purchase pre-cut, so my designs are limited to those sizes. When I create larger pieces, the wood mounts need to be custom cut then sanded to accommodate the rubber stamp, as per your request. There is extra labor and supply involved in creating that piece. Not to mention the extra time (several hours) that goes into communication, printing the transfer, and carving every detail of the design. Keep in mind, also, that I carve by hand with tools. I do not use a machine or laser and have limitations to my abilities. This is not an inexpensive process. My time is limited and is of great value to me. It is my opinion that you could have your logo custom made (not HAND carved, but custom made nonetheless) by laser at a fraction of the cost by another supplier. Someone out there can take your logo, upload it to their computer, then cut your stamp. Precisely! And it would be more affordable. Also, I am not a graphic designer. I am not paid for designing logos. Thats just not what I do. I do hope that youre not offended to read this, but rather that you understand my perspective on this topic. I do love designing and carving new functional art pieces. I do this between home schooling my children and family time. I am happy to know that you appreciate and enjoy what Im doing in my part of the world.
