Good morning, I was not aware that my old public broadcasting partner VPRO did a tv show dealing with the distasteful blacking up that happens this time of year in Holland. In the past I have been very critical of this and invoked the wrath (and threats...sometimes physical) on Twitter and in person, but, it is wrong. It is disgusing slavery, if on the Barbary Coast they did this Whiting up (they used to take white children from Cornwall in the 17th century for slaves) would that also be fun? Simple thing is Holland is an amazing country to live in, a fair country, a progressive country so to have this blacking up as a custom simply does not fit and to continue insulting a race has no place ever in a fair society. Anyone that comes on here and shouts abuse all you are doing is showing the world you are a bigot, anyone that comes on here and says I have no sense of humour is showing themselves up as having the IQ of a slug with no ability in seeing anything aside from a racist hangover from history as fun and harmless I support Quicy Garrio and it is time to rethink.
