Good morning! It is very very cold outside this morning, but at least we get some lovely sunshine. I have been kind of quiet this morning and last night because I was trying to install a new receiver to replace my 15 year old unit, which cannot process surround sound from my Blu-Ray player. Sadly, the installation was complicated and incredibly time consuming, and the end result: I hated it, it didnt work properly, and it cant do everything my 15 year old unit can do, so it is being returned for a refund. I still need to replace my old receiver as it is nearing the end of its life, so now I need to find something good that will actually work for me. It needs to be able to let me play records, CDs, surround sound SACD / DVD-Audio discs, DVDs, and Blu-Ray discs in surround sound. I do not want nor do I need an internet connection in a receiver. I simply want it to let me play music and video... and have it sound good. This seems to be too much to ask these days, but I will figure something out quickly... I hope. :)
