Schneider will fill the vacancy caused by the retirement of William H. Brogan in May of 2013 An increase in area-wide rainfall during the past week has moderated the fire danger for the entire Lincoln National Forest. Travis Moseley, Forest Supervisor for the Lincoln National Forest announced that fire restrictions will be lifted effective Friday, July 19th at 8:00 am. Moseley reminds forest visitors to Be aware of your surroundings, and be prepared for sudden changes in weather including potential flash flooding in the Little Bear fire burn scar region.
