Good morning, Mavericks. At 9:12 a.m. the carillon located inside the UNO Henningson Memorial Campanile will chime for one minute in memory of those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001 as part of the terrorist attack on our country. During this time, UNO administration would request that students, staff, and faculty observe a moment of silence. The effort is in coordination with the Omaha Police Department, who is asking to not only remember those who lost their lives as part of the terrorist attacks, but the first-responders from area police, fire, and hospital units who also lost their lives that day and the families of all of those affected.
