Good morning Ms. White, I was a part of last years 2014 historical black college tour however, I lost contact after and never got the chance to thank you for the wonderful experience. Your tour opened my eyes to so many opportunities never seen before; and because of your tour I was able to broaden my options of schools this year in which I applied to Tennessee state university, Hampton university, Delaware state university, Cheyney university, Spelman college and others. With your help and the other amazing leaders who spoke out to me during this experience, Ive already received acceptance letters from Lincoln University and Tennessee state university and will be fulfilling a mass communications major and a minor in business finance. The entire organization is wonderful and I enjoyed the long road trips of making new friendships in your words networking that I still have those friendships today. It was by far the most outstanding feeling to be surrounded by intelligence and talent and I thank you so much Ms. Barbara White. Im now currently a senior, and if it werent for that tour I would be blinded from the touching history of our African American ancestors and how they laid the path for young people today to succeed and be thankful for our greatness. Your leadership is amazing and once again thank you.
