Good morning NEPA this is forecaster Kevin Wisniewski with Wyoming Valley PA Weather on the possible storm threat for late Sunday night in Monday afternoon. This system is overrunning precipitation coming from our West to Southwest .. ATM it will start has light snow and could get steady. Start time for light snow just after midnight then early morning as warmer air rush in the upper layers will changes the snow to sleet / freezing rain and should last to mid day . There slight chance this could change to plain rain . There a slight chance this could end as light snow Monday afternoon . Possible snow accumulation and ice accumulation for Scranton and I 84 southward is coating to 2 of snow and 0.10- 0.30 of ice accumulation and North of Scranton and north of I 84 is 2 - 4 of snow and 0.01 - 0.10 of ice accumulation. There could be school delays or closings so stay tuned. Roads will get very slick and icy . Please stay tuned with us because this is subject to changes . I am posting some possible ice accumulation of the freezing rain on the comments down below . The maps are in mm ........Kevin
