Good morning! Nixle is here! We now have in place an emergency notification system for the Village. Simply put, if you are signed up (IT IS FREE), you will receive a text or e-mail should an emergency arise. You do not have to be a resident of the Village to sign up. There are 2 ways to sign up: Go to nixle and click on the orange SIGN UP FOR FREE button in the middle of the screen and fill out the very simple form. This will allow you to receive texts and e-mails of any alerts sent. The second way is to text 48829 to 888777. It is that simple! With this option you will not receive e-mails, just texts. If you have texting with your phone, the cost is free. If you dont have texting, it would be the cost of a standard text message (your cell provider would have that information).
