Good morning! Not enough sleep yet, but woke up feeling absolutely blessed. Yesterday we took the band to DC where they had a chance to see other bands from many different states. What an amazing feeling to have other directors share their person excitement to see our organization... many of which know my journey dating back over 20 years. Directors that I used to battle are now college directors and can look to Brooklyn for scholarship money. What an amazing feeling to watch my little guys age 6 and 7 some 9 and 10...they perform right next to my big guys and they shine. To know that they will one day do the same for other lil ones. My feet are planted, my soul is at ease.. this is what I will do to the day I am called home. God before you take me away, please allow me to service and care for another thousand or even 2 thousand. I pray your mercy and protection, allow me some time, I promise to make it time well spent. Amen! Good morning
