Good morning Peoples of Western Mass, Well, I hope you followed - TopicsExpress

Good morning Peoples of Western Mass, Well, I hope you followed my advice, and got out and about this weekend, it was glorious, no? Beautiful summery weather, tons of sunshine, it really was something for late September. Today is the final day of warmer weather, before we head south in the temperature department. We will see highs in the mid to upper 70s today, with partly cloudy skies. Patchy fog will be present in various locations, but should burn off as the sun heats the atmosphere back above the dew point. There is a powerful snowstorm raging in Greenland right now, and the trailing cold front from that system, with the help of strong high pressure pushing southeast from Ontario towards New Brunswick, Canada, will force a backdoor cold front southwest through Western Mass overnight. Much cooler air will be pushing in here starting tomorrow, with light showers or drizzle at times tonight and tomorrow morning, temps will be in the 60s for highs, and low 50s for lows. Winds could get gusty towards 25-30mph. This temperature pattern will remain with us into the foreseeable future, and this upcoming weekend could feature a substantial rainstorm with highs in the low 60s. Here comes October.
