Good morning, Quite a cloudy start across southern regions of the UK this morning, with some mist and fog patches in some areas, particularly across the South East where visibility may drop below 100m, making driving conditions treacherous, so extra care is advised. We also have a few showers across South Wales and southern England, some of which may be heavy during this morning. Elsewhere across England & Wales we have a mixture of sunny spells and variable cloud cover, although as the morning progresses there will be a risk of showers developing. Conditions across NI & W Scotland will remain generally cloudy as a weather front resides over these areas, which may produce some rain and drizzle at times. Across E Scotland conditions will remain drier with some sunny spells. This afternoon across England & Wales we will see a mixture of sunny spells, variable cloud cover and showers, some of which will be heavy, possibly thundery in places. The showers will be rather hit and miss in nature so some areas will avoid them. The best conditions are likely to be across Cumbria and NE England, although showers will develop here later on this evening. Conditions will remain cloudy across NI & W Scotland with some patchy rain and drizzle. Across E Scotland conditions will be drier and brighter with some sunny spells at times. Feeling rather warm across the southern half of the UK, with temperatures ranging from 18°c - 24°c. Across the northern half of the UK it will feel a little cooler, with temperatures ranging from 12°c – 18°c. Have a wonderful day, Stuart.
