Good morning RID Facebook Community! We are currently seeking feedback from the Deaf and Interpreter Communities on three (3) draft Standard Practice Papers (SPPs). Feedback will be collected through May 31, 2014. Please read the drafts in full and provide your feedback to the appropriate email address provided for each paper. SPP topics: Trilingual Interpreting; Performing Arts Interpreting; and Professional Sign Language Interpreting Agencies. The SPPs articulate the consensus of the membership in outlining standard practices and positions on various interpreting roles and issues and are frequently used to educate hiring entities about the specific areas.
