Good morning. Some showers right now extending from coastal St Bernard to upper Lafourche are associated with that front that caused all the severe weather yesterday. Eventually this rain will push out of the area over the next couple of hours. Watch for some minor street flooding in Plaquemines where rain has been falling for a few hours. Otherwise warm and windy again today with mid 80s. A better chance of storms in our area this afternoon at about 50%. While most severe weather should stay northeast of us, there is a slight chance for southeast LA and southern MS so be alert as storms develop later today. Rain will be moving out later tonight and then nice weather for the second half of the week.-Hank
