Good morning, TMoPC peeps. I woke up this morning to find out Marcus Borg had passed away yesterday. Marcus Borg is a New Testament scholar whos been an influential voice, if not an instigator of progressive Christianity for so many through his many books and lectures. I was privileged to be able to attend a two-day lecture Marcus Borg held at the Christian Theological Seminary here in Indianapolis. As well as the sermon he gave that following Sunday. If youre struggling with Christianity, Marcus Borg is a good start. -- George.
