Good morning! TODAY: Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms. Rain will be moderate to heavy at times and may lead to flash flooding in some areas. A few storms this afternoon and evening (4-9pm) may be strong to severe with wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail (although I think many of these storms will have wind gusts in the 40-50 mph range). Highs: upper 60s to low 70s. TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with scattered showers. Lows: low to mid 50s. TOMORROW & BEYOND: Clouds and some sun at times tomorrow with scattered showers and highs in the 60s. Highs near 60 or so Friday into the weekend with clouds, some sun, and a few showers each day. Still lots of clouds Monday and a few showers with highs in the 60s to start next week. HAZARDS: Flash flooding the biggest concern today. Areas that see a lot of rain in a short amount of time will have the greatest concern for flash flooding. Generally, 1-1.5 inches of rain is expected across the area today. If this all falls in a 3-6 hour period, flash flooding may occur. A few storms this afternoon and evening could be strong to severe with wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail.
