Good morning Team Eddie. The annual TK Halloween Party was this past Friday. I showed up at 9:45 am looking forward to the festivities, planning on spending a couple hours with Eddie before heading off to an afternoon meeting. Unfortunately I thought the flyer said between 10 am and 2 pm. It actually read 10 am and 2 pm :( And yup, you guessed it, Eddie was scheduled to partake at 2 pm. Gutted I missed the party, his mother dressed him as a lion this year. Good news is that plenty of photos were taken by the Activities Room director and just waiting on photos of my son to be forwarded. Ill post them when received. Had some quality time with him last night and took 3 short videos of the Eddie we hope to see more and more of over time. I had him sitting on my lap while Myline, the CNA, was preparing his bed for his bath in front of us. He just perked up and started looking at her, following her movements around the bed. He displayed eye tracking, coordination, neck movement and strength and head turning. He was also responding to our voices, especially to Myline who was talking to him the whole time. He really looks and acts like a normal kid in this video! Im excited and hopeful to see this become more of a regular occurrence over time. I combined the videos into 1 extended version. The sound didnt record on any of them, which is sad given the nice banter we had. Thank you for sharing this experience with Eddie and I and for your continued prayers. God Bless.
