Good morning! Thanks to a light breeze overnight, dense fog is not an issue this morning. This afternoon winds will increase and some gusts will be above 40 MPH in the Valley. In preparation, bring unsecured items indoors and clean out rain gutters if you havent already. Showers will begin in the North Valley after sunset, and heavy rain will be possible overnight. Heavy rain will also be possible in the Foothills, and snow levels are expected to drop to 6,000 by Friday morning. Plan for showers to continue in the Valley through your Friday. Totals for the event will range from 3/4 in the South Valley to some spots in the North Valley receiving near 2. Things will clear out over the weekend, and areas of fog will likely develop as temperatures fall into the upper 30s and low 40s in the overnight hours.
